We survey, make and fit made-to-measure timber doors throughout East Riding of Yorkshire, covering 10 towns from the workshop to the fitted door.
Coastal openings. Hull, Bridlington, Hessle, Hornsea, Withernsea sit close enough to open water that salt-laden air drives the specification: Accoya or dense hardwood, a high-build microporous coating and grade A4 marine stainless ironmongery.
Conservation areas. Beverley carry designated conservation areas or listed frontages. Like-for-like timber replacement is rarely refused; changing material or glazing pattern usually is. We produce drawings for consent applications.
All twenty-four types are available here, supplied and fitted with a ten-year guarantee.

Three to five years on exposed elevations, against seven or more inland. Salt-facing elevations always go first.
A four-panel door with a bolection moulding and an etched or obscured upper light. Stile widths matter — narrow modern stiles make the proportions look wrong immediately.
We give an indicative price from sizes or photographs, then survey free of charge before anything is made. The survey is what turns an estimate into a fixed price.
Engineered redwood for painted doors, dense hardwoods such as sapele or idigbo where more strength is wanted, European oak where the grain is the point, and Accoya on exposed and coastal openings.
Yes. We take the mouldings, panel proportions and glazing pattern from the original and reproduce them. If the door is beyond saving we can still copy it before it goes.
Each town page carries its own exposure, housing character and planning notes.
