Terms and conditions

These terms
They govern use of this website and any quotation or order placed with us. Please read them before placing an order.
Prices shown on this site
Guide prices and the indicative price tool give an estimated range only. They are not quotations and do not form an offer. A binding price is given in writing after a measured survey.
Surveys and quotations
The measured survey is free and carries no obligation. A written quotation is valid for 30 days unless it states otherwise. If the survey reveals a defect in the surrounding structure — a failed cill, rot in the frame, a dropped lintel — we will set out the options before proceeding.
Orders and deposits
An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing and receive the deposit. Because doors are made to your measurements and specification, they are bespoke goods.
Cancellation
Where you order as a consumer away from our premises you have 14 days to cancel. That right does not normally apply to goods made to your specification once manufacture has begun, and we will tell you clearly when that point is reached.
Delivery and fitting
Lead times are estimates given in good faith and confirmed at survey. We will tell you promptly if a date moves. Reasonable access to the opening is your responsibility.
Guarantee
New doors carry a ten-year guarantee on the joinery and factory finish from the date of completion. It covers manufacturing defects and finish failure in normal use. It does not cover accidental damage, alteration by others, or failure to carry out the maintenance set out in the care instructions supplied. First-season adjustment is included and is not a defect.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the contract value.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
