Why a range rather than a number? Because openings move. A survey checks whether the frame is sound, whether the cill is shedding water the right way, and whether the opening is square. Those three things move a price more than the colour does.
How the price is built
Size
Standard, wide, oversized or non-standard. Arched and splayed openings take more setting out.
Timber
Engineered redwood under paint through to Accoya for exposed and coastal sites.
Glazing
Solid, part glazed, fully glazed, or leaded and etched glass priced per panel.
Fitting
Removal, disposal, frame condition and access. All checked at survey, not guessed.
