Timber Door Frames in West Midlands
Our Timber Door Frames are made to order for West Midlands, spray-finished and cured before delivery so the door arrives protected.
Most door problems are not the door. They are an opening that has moved, a cill that sheds water backwards, or a finish that was never cured properly. A survey is what separates a door that works from one you fight with.
Price and lead time in West Midlands
Timber Door Frames start at £480 per frame supplied and fitted, VAT included, with a typical lead time of 4–6 weeks. Try the indicative price tool for a range, or send sizes and we will be closer.
Common questions
Should I replace the frame with the door?
If the frame has softened at the foot or the cill is shedding water inwards, yes. A new leaf will not fix a frame that has failed.
What door suits a Victorian terrace?
A four-panel door with a bolection moulding and an etched or obscured upper light. Stile widths matter — narrow modern stiles make the proportions look wrong immediately.
Is there a guarantee?
Ten years on the joinery and the factory finish, with the survey record kept so any claim is straightforward to deal with.
Do you take a deposit?
A deposit is taken when the order is placed and the balance on completion. Nothing is payable before the survey and the written quotation.
What ironmongery do you supply?
Everything from period butt hinges and rim locks to modern multipoint systems, in finishes from polished brass to satin stainless. Coastal sites get marine-grade stainless as standard.
Can you fit a cat flap or letter plate?
Both, and it is better done in the workshop where the aperture can be sealed properly rather than cut on site.
